Nexus Scale AI is seeking a Staff Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain mission-critical distributed systems powering our next-generation LLM platforms. In this role, you will lead core architectural decisions across multi-region Kubernetes clusters, optimize bare-metal GPU workloads, and enforce resilient CI/CD delivery pipelines.
We value engineering simplicity, high operational ownership, and zero-downtime tolerance. You will collaborate directly with machine learning researchers, product engineers, and security teams to build resilient, cost-efficient infrastructure at high throughput.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, deploy, and manage multi-region Kubernetes clusters handling petabyte-scale workloads.
- Build and maintain declarative Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Pulumi.
- Design zero-trust networking topology, IAM policies, and VPC peering connections across AWS and bare-metal environments.
- Lead observability strategy by configuring metrics, traces, and automated anomaly detection via Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Datadog.
- Partner with ML teams to optimize high-performance computing clusters and GPU utilization.
- Participate in high-priority on-call rotations and lead blameless post-mortems for critical production incidents.
Kualifikasi
- 7+ years of experience managing production Linux infrastructure at scale in high-growth environments.
- Deep hands-on expertise with Kubernetes internals, CNI plugins, and container runtime orchestration.
- Demonstrated proficiency in at least one modern backend language (Go, Python, or Rust).
- Extensive experience implementing Infrastructure as Code via Terraform or OpenTofu.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems fundamentals, TCP/IP networking, and DNS architecture.
- Proven track record managing zero-downtime migrations in multi-cloud or hybrid environments.
