Synthetix Cloud Labs is seeking an experienced Staff Platform Engineer to architect and scale our next-generation distributed cloud foundation. In this high-impact role, you will lead the core infrastructure roadmap, empower dozens of internal product teams, and establish operational excellence across globally distributed Kubernetes clusters.
We build resilient, secure, self-healing developer platforms that support real-time data pipelines at scale. If you are passionate about internal developer experience (DevEx), zero-trust networking, and high-throughput systems, this role offers direct technical ownership.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, build, and maintain multi-region Kubernetes infrastructure on AWS to ensure 99.99% system availability.
- Design and maintain production-grade Terraform modules and GitOps pipelines (ArgoCD) for fully automated provisioning.
- Build internal developer platforms and self-service CLI tools in Go to shorten deployment lead time across 40+ microservices.
- Establish distributed tracing, alerting, and metric collection using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) investigations, run blameless post-mortems, and define system reliability standards.
- Mentor senior engineers, champion modern infrastructure practices, and audit cloud security postures.
Kualifikasi
- 8+ years of experience managing production-scale cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP.
- 5+ years of deep hands-on expertise with Kubernetes internals, ingress controllers, service mesh, and container runtimes.
- Proficiency in Go or Python for automation, tooling, and custom Kubernetes operator development.
- Advanced production mastery of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or OpenTofu at enterprise scale.
- Deep understanding of Linux kernel fundamentals, TCP/IP networking, and distributed systems architecture.
- Demonstrated experience defining SLA, SLO, and SLI frameworks for mission-critical web applications.
