Apex Cloud Systems is seeking a high-caliber Senior Distributed Systems Engineer to design, scale, and maintain our real-time streaming infrastructure. In this role, you will lead architectural initiatives, optimize multi-region data stores, and eliminate performance bottlenecks across high-throughput services processing millions of events per second.
We prioritize clear ownership, modern engineering practices, and minimal bureaucracy. You will work directly with platform leads to drive core product capability, resilience, and operational excellence.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and implement low-latency backend services handling over 1M RPS.
- Drive fault tolerance, automated recovery, and zero-downtime deployments across multi-region clusters.
- Optimize persistence layers using PostgreSQL, Redis, and distributed consensus mechanisms.
- Conduct cross-functional architectural reviews to establish patterns for concurrency and data consistency.
- Diagnose performance bottlenecks across kernel, network, and application layers.
- Mentor mid-level engineers through strict design standards and rigorous code reviews.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of production experience building high-scale distributed systems in Go, Rust, or C++.
- Deep understanding of distributed consensus, memory management, and networking protocols (TCP, gRPC, HTTP/3).
- Demonstrated experience operating Kafka, Pulsar, or similar high-throughput event logs at scale.
- Strong background in relational schema design, query optimization, and transaction isolation levels.
- Proficiency with container orchestration via Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
