Apex Cloud Systems is hiring a Staff Platform Engineer to architect and scale our multi-region distributed cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will define reliable platform patterns, automate mission-critical delivery pipelines, and build developer tooling that accelerates over 200 software engineers.
We prioritize zero-downtime operations, high observability, and infrastructure as code. You will lead technical strategy, drive platform availability initiatives, and mentor senior engineering staff in building fault-tolerant systems.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, deploy, and maintain multi-region Kubernetes clusters across AWS and GCP.
- Design self-service infrastructure platforms and developer tooling using Go and Terraform.
- Establish SLOs, SLIs, and automated incident response systems to sustain 99.99% uptime.
- Implement zero-trust security controls, network policies, and identity access boundaries.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure costs, driving workload efficiency and resource sizing.
- Lead technical post-mortems and engineer proactive mitigations against system failure modes.
Kualifikasi
- 8+ years of experience managing production-grade, high-scale distributed systems.
- Expert-level proficiency with Kubernetes, container runtimes, and service mesh architectures.
- Deep experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or OpenTofu at enterprise scale.
- Proficiency in Go or Python for automation, tooling, and internal service development.
- Demonstrated experience defining observability pipelines using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Strong background in cloud networking, DNS, load balancing, and Linux kernel internals.
