Nexus Cloud Systems is seeking an experienced Staff Platform Engineer to architect, scale, and secure our mission-critical developer platform. In this role, you will lead cross-functional infrastructure initiatives, optimize multi-region Kubernetes clusters, and establish self-service tooling that accelerates delivery across 40+ engineering squads.
The ideal candidate brings deep domain mastery in distributed systems, Infrastructure-as-Code, and zero-trust security postures within hyper-growth cloud environments.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and maintain resilient, multi-region Kubernetes infrastructure spanning AWS and hybrid cloud deployments.
- Design enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, and internal developer platforms (IDP) to reduce cycle times.
- Drive site reliability engineering (SRE) standards, SLO/SLI tracking, and automated disaster recovery plans.
- Establish infrastructure security controls, policy-as-code guards, and compliance baselines (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
- Evaluate, benchmark, and integrate emerging cloud technologies to optimize latency, cost, and developer velocity.
- Mentor senior engineers, write production RFCs, and define long-term architectural platform roadmaps.
Kualifikasi
- 8+ years of production experience in infrastructure engineering, platform development, or SRE roles.
- Expertise with container orchestration using production Kubernetes at petabyte scale.
- Deep fluency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, OpenTofu, or Pulumi.
- Advanced software development experience in Go, Python, or Rust.
- Demonstrated experience implementing distributed observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
- Proven track record of driving cloud infrastructure cost optimization and capacity planning initiatives.
- Strong background in identity and access management (IAM), secret management, and network security policies.
