Vanguard Core Labs is seeking an exceptional Staff Platform Engineer to architect and scale our core cloud infrastructure and internal developer platform. In this role, you will define foundational distributed architecture, eliminate developer friction, and maintain system resilience across multi-region production clusters.
You will serve as a technical anchor, driving platform reliability, automated governance, and cloud-native standards across the entire engineering organization.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, scale, and maintain mission-critical Kubernetes infrastructure across multi-region AWS environments.
- Design and deliver high-throughput internal developer platform (IDP) tooling to accelerate software delivery cycles.
- Establish engineering standards for zero-downtime deployments, observability, and distributed telemetry.
- Partner with product security teams to implement robust identity governance, workload isolation, and compliance policies.
- Drive incident post-mortems and root cause analysis to eliminate systemic operational failures.
- Mentor senior and mid-level engineers across cloud-native architectures, infrastructure-as-code, and distributed systems best practices.
Kualifikasi
- 8+ years of production experience managing distributed systems, Linux internals, and large-scale cloud infrastructure.
- Deep hands-on expertise with Kubernetes internals, container runtimes, and service meshes (e.g., Istio, Envoy).
- Proficiency in Go, Rust, or Python for building platform services, custom operators, and tooling.
- Advanced infrastructure-as-code mastery utilizing Terraform, OpenTofu, or Pulumi in production.
- Proven record designing scalable observability architectures using Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and distributed tracing.
- Demonstrated leadership in technical roadmapping, cross-functional collaboration, and technical consensus building.
