CloudScale Systems is hiring a Staff Platform Engineer to architect and operate our next-generation cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will lead the core platform team in building high-throughput, fault-tolerant internal developer platforms that power mission-critical services globally.
We prioritize automation, developer velocity, and bulletproof reliability over manual firefighting. You will collaborate directly with engineering leaders to set architectural standards and eliminate system bottlenecks.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, deploy, and maintain multi-region Kubernetes clusters across AWS infrastructure.
- Design internal developer platforms and self-service APIs to accelerate software delivery cycles.
- Establish distributed tracing, metrics aggregation, and actionable alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and state management using Terraform and GitOps workflows.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) investigations and drive systematic reliability improvements post-incident.
- Mentor senior engineers on distributed systems design, security posture, and production hygiene.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 8 years of production software engineering or systems architecture experience.
- Demonstrated mastery of Kubernetes internals, container runtimes, and Linux kernel networking.
- Deep proficiency in Go, Python, or Rust for systems tooling and automation development.
- Extensive production experience managing cloud infrastructure via Terraform or Pulumi.
- Strong background in network protocols, TLS/mTLS, load balancing, and service meshes (Istio/Envoy).
- Proven track record architecting zero-downtime, high-availability distributed systems at scale.
