Nexus Distributed Systems is seeking an experienced Staff Platform Engineer to architect, scale, and optimize mission-critical cloud infrastructure powering billions of monthly transactions.

Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, deploy, and maintain high-throughput, low-latency microservices running on multi-region Kubernetes clusters.
- Design next-generation developer tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment frameworks to enhance developer velocity.
- Implement site reliability best practices, including automated failover, fine-grained telemetry, and proactive chaos engineering.
- Drive zero-trust security postures, infrastructure-as-code hardening, and SOC 2/ISO compliance enforcement across hybrid cloud environments.
- Lead root-cause investigations for complex distributed infrastructure incidents and implement preventative architectural guardrails.
- Mentor senior engineering staff and champion technical roadmaps aligned with executive growth initiatives.
Kualifikasi
- 8+ years of production experience managing large-scale distributed systems and cloud native infrastructure.
- Expertise with Go, Rust, or Python in the context of systems development and performance profiling.
- Deep operational fluency in Kubernetes, Envoy, Istio, and core CNCF orchestration patterns.
- Extensive experience managing AWS or GCP footprints using Terraform or OpenTofu.
- Demonstrated knowledge of distributed database internals, caching strategies (Redis, Kafka), and edge networking.
- Proven record leading architectural migration initiatives across cross-functional engineering teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent operational systems experience.
