Aether Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Staff Platform Engineer to architect and scale our core Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will lead the evolution of our developer platform, powering high-throughput distributed systems that serve millions of daily requests.
You will collaborate directly with foundational engineering teams to eliminate deployment friction, strengthen platform reliability, and establish company-wide distributed systems architecture standards.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, implement, and maintain multi-region Kubernetes clusters across hybrid-cloud environments.
- Build internal developer platforms and CLI tools to optimize engineering delivery pipelines.
- Drive site reliability initiatives, improving latency, automated disaster recovery, and fault tolerance.
- Author architectural decision records and mentor senior engineers across engineering verticals.
- Partner with product security to embed zero-trust network policies and vulnerability automation into CI/CD.
- Participate in high-tier operational incident management and root-cause analysis post-mortems.
Kualifikasi
- 8+ years of production experience managing large-scale distributed cloud infrastructure.
- Expertise in Go, Rust, or Python for production automation and systems programming.
- Demonstrated mastery of Kubernetes internals, operators, and service mesh architectures (Istio or Linkerd).
- Proven production experience with Terraform or Pulumi for infrastructure as code.
- Deep understanding of Linux kernel fundamentals, networking protocols, and eBPF tracing.
- Experience driving SLO/SLI observability implementations using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Track record of technical leadership and cross-functional architectural alignment.
