Nexus Cloud Systems seeks a Staff Platform Engineer to lead our internal developer platform initiatives. In this role, you will design, scale, and optimize mission-critical cloud infrastructure powering hundreds of microservices. You will work cross-functionally with senior engineering leaders to build resilient deployment pipelines, enforce security boundaries, and elevate engineering velocity across the entire organization.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, deploy, and maintain multi-region Kubernetes clusters across AWS and GCP.
- Design self-service infrastructure platforms to reduce service deployment times.
- Develop internal CLI tooling and automation libraries using Go and Python.
- Establish service-level objectives (SLOs) and observability best practices with Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Grafana.
- Perform root cause analysis for platform-level outages and lead incident response reviews.
- Mentor senior engineers on distributed systems architecture and system resilience.
Kualifikasi
- 8+ years of production experience in infrastructure engineering, SRE, or platform architecture.
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or Rust for systems programming and tooling.
- Deep production expertise with Kubernetes orchestration, Helm, and custom controllers.
- Extensive experience implementing Infrastructure as Code via Terraform or Pulumi.
- Strong grasp of Linux internals, network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/2, gRPC), and cloud security fundamentals.
- Demonstrated history of driving technical strategy for platform scale across multiple teams.
