Vektor Systems is seeking an experienced Staff Platform Engineer to design, scale, and optimize our core cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will lead high-impact architectural decisions across multi-region Kubernetes clusters, build automated internal developer platforms, and eliminate system bottlenecks to support rapid organizational scale.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, deploy, and maintain multi-region Kubernetes infrastructure across AWS.
- Design and implement internal developer platform (IDP) tooling to streamline CI/CD workflows.
- Define service level objectives (SLOs) and drive reliability, observability, and incident response enhancements.
- Partner with product engineering teams to resolve distributed systems bottlenecks and optimize cloud spend.
- Lead platform architecture reviews and establish org-wide infrastructure-as-code standards.
- Mentor senior engineering staff on systems architecture and operational excellence.
Kualifikasi
- 8+ years of production experience managing large-scale distributed systems in AWS or GCP.
- Expertise in container orchestration using Kubernetes, Helm, and service mesh technologies.
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or Rust for systems tooling and automation.
- Demonstrated track record with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or OpenTofu.
- Deep understanding of Linux internals, networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/2, gRPC), and cloud security.
- Experience driving incident retrospectives and root-cause analyses in high-availability environments.
