Apex Cloud Systems is looking for a Staff Platform Engineer to scale our global distributed infrastructure. In this role, you will lead the technical vision for our cloud architecture, drive developer velocity, and maintain high availability across multi-region environments.
We build resilient, self-healing platforms. You will partner with engineering leadership to modernize operational tooling, harden cloud security postures, and mentor senior systems engineers.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and operate resilient, multi-region Kubernetes clusters across cloud providers.
- Design internal developer platforms to reduce deployment latency and streamline CI/CD pipelines.
- Establish service-level objectives, alerting thresholds, and distributed tracing standards.
- Lead blameless post-mortems and remediate architectural failure modes.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using policy-driven infrastructure-as-code patterns.
- Mentor engineering teams on cloud-native reliability and distributed systems patterns.
Kualifikasi
- 8+ years of experience engineering platform, cloud, or distributed systems infrastructure.
- Deep production experience managing Kubernetes, service meshes, and container runtimes.
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or Rust for systems tooling and automation.
- Demonstrated expertise with Terraform, OpenTofu, or equivalent IaC frameworks.
- Hands-on experience architecting high-throughput networks and observability pipelines.
- Track record of spearheading organization-wide technical reliability initiatives.
