Apex Cloud Systems is seeking an experienced Staff Platform Engineer to lead the architectural evolution of our global edge infrastructure. In this role, you will design, automate, and scale developer platforms supporting millions of daily active users. You will partner with cross-functional product and infrastructure teams to ensure 99.999% reliability, accelerate deployment velocity, and eliminate developer friction.

Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and maintain distributed Kubernetes clusters across multi-region hybrid cloud deployments.
- Build internal developer platforms and self-service APIs to reduce deployment lead times across engineering teams.
- Implement observability, distributed tracing, and automated incident recovery workflows using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Lead root-cause analyses for critical production incidents and drive systemic remediations.
- Direct cloud cost optimization strategies to maintain operational efficiency at scale.
- Mentor senior and mid-level infrastructure engineers on systems design and production operational readiness.
Kualifikasi
- 8+ years of production experience managing high-throughput distributed systems in Linux environments.
- 5+ years operating Kubernetes, Terraform, and container orchestration in AWS or GCP at enterprise scale.
- Deep proficiency in Go, Python, or Rust for infrastructure tooling and automation.
- Demonstrated expertise with service mesh architectures, networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/2, gRPC), and DNS.
- Proven record leading large-scale system migrations with zero downtime.
- Strong background in site reliability engineering (SRE) principles, SLO/SLI tracking, and chaos engineering.
