CloudScale Technologies is seeking a high-caliber Staff Platform Engineer to architect and scale our next-generation cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will lead the core platform initiative, empowering 200+ engineers with low-latency, highly resilient distributed systems. You will directly influence infrastructure topology, eliminate operational friction, and set architectural patterns across our multi-cloud deployment footprint.
The ideal candidate brings deep systems-level knowledge, a passion for developer velocity, and proven experience operating Kubernetes clusters under heavy transactional loads.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, scale, and maintain multi-region Kubernetes clusters handling over 50,000 requests per second.
- Design internal developer platforms (IDP) and automated self-service workflows to accelerate team delivery cycles.
- Establish standards for zero-trust network infrastructure, IAM federation, and automated secret lifecycle management.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure costs, driving multi-million-dollar efficiency gains across AWS and GCP environments.
- Lead root-cause analyses for critical production incidents and establish preventative architectural guardrails.
- Mentor senior engineers through code reviews, technical roadmaps, and architecture design records (ADRs).
Kualifikasi
- 8+ years of production experience in infrastructure engineering, site reliability, or platform architecture.
- Expertise in Go, Python, or Rust for systems automation and custom operator development.
- Production-grade expertise with Kubernetes internals, container runtimes, and Service Mesh implementations (Istio, Envoy).
- Deep proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tooling, specifically Terraform, OpenTofu, and Terragrunt.
- Hands-on experience architecting distributed telemetry architectures using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Demonstrated ability to drive company-wide infrastructure modernization projects from inception to delivery.
