CloudScale Systems is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to design and optimize high-throughput distributed systems. You will lead architecture initiatives, streamline microservices, and scale our data pipeline to handle billions of real-time requests daily.
We prioritize engineering simplicity, high operational reliability, and deep technical ownership.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, build, and maintain scalable microservices using Go and PostgreSQL.
- Optimize high-throughput systems for low latency and high availability.
- Lead system design reviews and define engineering standards across the team.
- Instrument services with tracing, metrics, and automated alerting to maintain 99.99% uptime.
- Partner with product and infrastructure teams to scope technical roadmaps and unblock dependencies.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and technical deep dives.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of production experience with modern backend languages (Go, Java, or Rust).
- Deep expertise in distributed data stores, relational databases, and caching strategies.
- Hands-on experience deploying and operating services on AWS and Kubernetes.
- Strong background in API design using gRPC, Protocol Buffers, and REST.
- Demonstrated experience debugging complex concurrency and network-level production issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical engineering experience.
