Traya is seeking a passionate, detail-oriented Barista to join our hospitality team in Denpasar, Bali. In this role, you will be the face of our cafe, crafting high-quality specialty coffee and delivering exceptional customer experiences in a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere.
As a Barista at Traya, you will manage daily coffee bar operations, maintain equipment cleanliness, calibrate espresso grinders, and consistently serve espresso beverages and alternative brews that meet our precise standards. We prioritize quality, speed, and genuine guest connection. If you have a solid grasp of coffee extraction, latte art proficiency, and a collaborative mindset, we want to hear from you.
This is a full-time position offering a competitive monthly salary ranging between Rp 3.000.000 and Rp 4.000.000, along with clear pathways for professional development within Bali's flourishing specialty coffee and hospitality industry.
Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare and serve a wide range of espresso-based and manual brew beverages consistently meeting brand standards.
- Calibrate grinders, adjust espresso extraction parameters, and maintain daily brew logs.
- Provide attentive, warm customer service, taking orders accurately and offering menu recommendations.
- Operate POS systems, handle cash and digital transactions, and balance the cash drawer.
- Maintain sanitization, cleanliness, and organization across all workstations, seating areas, and equipment.
- Manage bar inventory, monitor ingredient shelf life, and report supply shortages to management.
- Adhere strictly to food hygiene, workplace safety, and operational protocols at all times.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience as a Barista in a specialty cafe or hospitality venue.
- Solid knowledge of coffee varieties, extraction theory, and milk texturing techniques.
- Basic to intermediate latte art skills (rosetta, tulip, heart).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a high-volume service setting.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Basic conversational English proficiency to serve international guests in Bali.
- Punctual, dependable, and capable of maintaining composure during peak hours.
