Soitec is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our manufacturing facility in Pasir Ris, Singapore. In this role, you will play a critical part in our semiconductor wafer production line, operating advanced machinery, monitoring assembly lines, and ensuring products satisfy our exacting quality and safety standards.
As a key member of the operations team, you will collaborate closely with maintenance technicians, quality assurance specialists, and production supervisors to sustain smooth cleanroom workflows and hit daily production targets. Tanggung Jawab
- Operate automated and semi-automated cleanroom manufacturing machinery according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Perform routine visual and automated quality checks on wafers to detect surface defects and irregularities.
- Assemble and pack components in compliance with production schedules and safety guidelines.
- Log production metrics, machine errors, and batch records accurately into the manufacturing execution system (MES).
- Assist engineers and technicians with basic tool preventive maintenance and cleanroom housekeeping.
- Escalate machine faults, safety hazards, and product anomalies promptly to the shift supervisor.
Kualifikasi
- Nitec, Higher Nitec, or SPM / GCE 'O' / 'N' Level qualification in any discipline.
- Prior experience in semiconductor, electronics, or cleanroom manufacturing preferred but not required; entry-level candidates are welcome.
- Willingness to perform 12-hour rotating shifts (day/night) in a cleanroom environment wearing full PPE / bunny suits.
- Basic computer literacy to operate manufacturing terminals and enter shift data.
- Good team player with strong focus, dexterity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive handling tasks safely.
