Nexus Distributed Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Platform Engineer to scale internal infrastructure and build automated developer platforms for high-throughput microservice ecosystems. In this role, you will design resilient distributed runtimes, eliminate developer friction, and drive operational excellence across hybrid cloud topologies.
We prioritize boring technology executed cleanly, high availability, and declarative infrastructure as code. You will collaborate directly with security, SRE, and product engineering teams to ensure low-latency performance and sub-second rollback capabilities.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, provision, and maintain multi-tenant Kubernetes clusters across hybrid AWS environments.
- Build internal developer platform APIs and CLI tooling to automate CI/CD pipeline deployments.
- Design zero-trust network policies, service meshes, and IAM integrations following least-privilege standards.
- Implement system-wide observability, telemetry pipelines, and dynamic alerting using Prometheus and OpenTelemetry.
- Lead root-cause analysis investigations for production incidents and implement preventative architectural fixes.
- Establish infrastructure-as-code engineering patterns using Terraform and GitOps workflows.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 5 years managing mission-critical cloud infrastructure at scale (AWS, GCP, or bare metal).
- Deep production expertise with container orchestration via Kubernetes and service meshes (Istio or Linkerd).
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or Rust for systems engineering and automation tooling.
- Demonstrated experience defining infrastructure as code with declarative tooling (Terraform, OpenTofu).
- Strong foundational knowledge of Linux internals, TCP/IP networking, and kernel tuning.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical industry experience.
