Nexus Cloud Systems seeks an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to architect, build, and scale our core distributed data platform. You will own mission-critical infrastructure handling millions of transactions daily, partnering directly with product leadership to ship fault-tolerant cloud services.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and maintain high-throughput, low-latency microservices using Go and PostgreSQL.
- Design resilient distributed systems capable of horizontal scaling under peak load.
- Optimize database queries, indexing strategies, and connection pooling for maximum performance.
- Drive engineering standards across testing, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
- Collaborate with security and SRE teams to ensure platform reliability, observability, and compliance.
- Mentor mid-level engineers through technical design reviews and production readiness checklists.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of production experience building high-scale distributed backend systems.
- Expertise in at least one statically typed backend language, preferably Go, Rust, or Java.
- Deep understanding of relational database internals, particularly PostgreSQL.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS or GCP cloud environments.
- Demonstrated ability to debug complex asynchronous processing pipelines and network latency bottlenecks.
- Strong background in API design using REST and gRPC protocols.
