CloudScale Systems is seeking an exceptional Senior Backend Engineer to architect, build, and optimize our next-generation distributed data processing engine.
You will own critical backend infrastructure, lead architectural initiatives, and ensure high reliability across systems processing millions of transactions per second. This role offers the opportunity to drive technical strategy and impact our core platform roadmap.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and implement low-latency, fault-tolerant microservices using Go and Rust.
- Design, benchmark, and optimize high-throughput distributed database schemas and data pipelines.
- Collaborate with platform engineers to automate infrastructure management on Kubernetes.
- Define service-level objectives (SLOs) and integrate distributed tracing, monitoring, and alerting.
- Drive engineering best practices via design reviews, rigorous code quality standards, and technical documentation.
- Mentor intermediate engineers and contribute to high-level architectural roadmaps.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of production experience building high-scale distributed systems in Go, Rust, or C++.
- Deep expertise in relational and non-relational storage engines, specifically PostgreSQL and distributed key-value stores.
- Extensive hands-on experience with containerization, Docker, and Kubernetes orchestration in AWS or GCP environments.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, concurrency patterns, and RPC frameworks such as gRPC.
- Demonstrated ability to profile, troubleshoot, and optimize CPU and memory performance under heavy loads.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent practical industry experience.
