Apex Cloud Systems is seeking a high-caliber Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to architect, harden, and scale our core multi-region AWS footprint. In this role, you will lead platform reliability initiatives, drive IaC adoption, and ensure sub-second latency for business-critical APIs serving millions of concurrent requests.
We prioritize boring, reliable operational primitives over brittle abstractions. You will work closely with application teams to eliminate single points of failure, enforce zero-trust security postures, and lower operational complexity across our distributed compute clusters.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, deploy, and maintain multi-region infrastructure using Terraform and AWS.
- Design automated CI/CD deployment pipelines prioritizing zero-downtime blue/green rollouts.
- Implement comprehensive observability, tracing, and metric collection using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Diagnose complex distributed networking, DNS, and kernel-level performance bottlenecks.
- Enforce zero-trust network boundaries and IAM least-privilege configurations across all VPCs.
- Participate in an on-call rotation focused on rapid incident remediation and root-cause analysis.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 5 years managing high-availability, production-scale Linux infrastructure on AWS.
- Demonstrated mastery of Terraform for modular, drift-free Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Deep operational familiarity with Kubernetes (EKS) orchestration, ingress controllers, and service meshes.
- Proficiency in at least one systems programming language (Go or Python preferred).
- Strong practical understanding of TCP/IP, TLS, BGP, and distributed consensus mechanisms.
- Proven record leading post-mortems and systematically automating operational toil.
