Apex Cloud Systems is seeking a high-caliber Senior Distributed Systems Engineer to design, scale, and optimize our core multi-region infrastructure. In this role, you will tackle hard concurrency problems, reduce cross-region latency, and ensure fault tolerance across high-throughput data pipelines serving millions of daily requests.
You will collaborate directly with principal architects and infrastructure teams to build resilient backend services. We prioritize pragmatic, clean engineering practices over unnecessary abstractions.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, implement, and maintain high-throughput distributed microservices using Go and Rust.
- Optimize global traffic routing and cross-region replication protocols for sub-millisecond p99 latencies.
- Diagnose complex multi-threaded concurrency, memory leak, and network partition issues in production environments.
- Lead architectural design reviews and champion code quality across distributed backend teams.
- Design zero-downtime database migration strategies across globally partitioned distributed datastores.
- Automate observability, telemetry, and fault-injection pipelines using OpenTelemetry and Kubernetes.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 5 years of production experience building high-scale distributed backend services.
- Demonstrated proficiency in low-level systems programming using Go, Rust, or modern C++.
- Deep working knowledge of consensus protocols such as Raft or Paxos, and distributed caching strategies.
- Hands-on experience tuning high-throughput message brokers such as Apache Kafka or Apache Pulsar.
- Strong background in relational and distributed database internals, concurrency controls, and transaction isolation levels.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
