Apex Scale Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Platform Engineer to design, scale, and maintain our multi-region Kubernetes infrastructure. You will collaborate directly with core product engineering teams to eliminate deployment bottlenecks, bolster platform reliability, and optimize distributed cloud systems handling billions of requests monthly.
This role offers high technical ownership, direct impact on core developer velocity, and competitive equity packages.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, provision, and maintain resilient multi-region infrastructure on AWS using Terraform.
- Optimize continuous integration and delivery pipelines to reduce deployment latency.
- Implement comprehensive observability, alerting, and automated recovery tools using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Enforce security controls, RBAC policies, and compliance standards across all Kubernetes clusters.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers in distributed systems design and operational best practices.
- Lead root-cause analysis sessions for production incidents and implement permanent remediations.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of production experience managing containerized workloads with Kubernetes.
- Strong proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tooling, specifically Terraform or Pulumi.
- Demonstrated fluency in at least one systems programming language such as Go or Python.
- Deep working knowledge of AWS core services (EKS, IAM, VPC, RDS, S3).
- Proven track record building and scaling CI/CD platforms like GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or GitLab CI.
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting distributed systems observability stacks.
