Vanguard Cloud Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer to design, scale, and maintain our distributed infrastructure. In this role, you will eliminate operational toil, drive architectural reliability standards, and guarantee 99.99% system availability across our multi-region Kubernetes clusters.
We prioritize automation, clear ownership, and pragmatic engineering. You will collaborate directly with core product teams to integrate reliability, security, and observability into the software development lifecycle from day one.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, provision, and maintain multi-region cloud infrastructure using Terraform and AWS.
- Deploy, optimize, and manage production Kubernetes clusters for high availability and zero-downtime rollouts.
- Implement telemetry, synthetic tracing, and actionable alerting pipelines using Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog.
- Establish, track, and advocate for critical SLIs, SLOs, and Error Budgets across engineering pods.
- Automate manual remediation and routine operations through production-grade Go or Python tooling.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and lead blame-free incident post-mortems to drive structural fixes.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in SRE, DevOps, or distributed systems production environments.
- Demonstrated expertise managing production-scale Kubernetes workloads and container runtimes.
- Advanced Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience using Terraform in enterprise cloud environments.
- Working proficiency in at least one systems programming or scripting language, preferably Go or Python.
- Deep understanding of Linux systems internals, TCP/IP networking, and DNS architecture.
- Proven track record diagnosing complex production bottlenecks across compute, network, and storage tiers.
