Vanguard Systems is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to drive the next evolution of our distributed data platform. You will lead architectural direction across high-throughput distributed engines, mentor senior talent, and solve complex latency challenges at massive scale.
We build mission-critical, enterprise-grade cloud systems. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional leadership to define technical roadmaps, establish engineering standards, and build resilient backend services that process petabytes of real-time transactions.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, implement, and operate fault-tolerant distributed systems handling real-time data ingestion.
- Define long-term technical vision and execute architectural roadmaps across engineering squads.
- Eliminate operational bottlenecks by profiling performance, network bottlenecks, and database latency.
- Establish engineering best practices through rigorous code reviews, RFC authoring, and documentation.
- Mentor senior and staff engineers to elevate overall organizational technical capability.
- Collaborate with product and security leadership to ensure resilient, secure-by-default system design.
Kualifikasi
- 8+ years of production experience designing and shipping large-scale distributed architectures.
- Deep mastery of low-latency systems programming using Go, Rust, or Java.
- Proven track record managing data persistence and caching layers using PostgreSQL, Redis, and Kafka.
- Extensive operational experience with Kubernetes, cloud-native infrastructure, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong background in distributed consensus, event-driven architecture, and multi-tenant isolation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical industry experience.
