Nexus Cloud Technologies is looking for a Staff Backend Engineer to drive the architecture and scalability of our distributed real-time data engine. You will own core platform services powering billions of events daily, setting technical direction across our engineering organization.

Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, implement, and maintain low-latency distributed microservices using Go and Rust.
- Lead cross-team architectural initiatives and define technical standards across engineering.
- Optimize high-throughput datastores and event-streaming pipelines for performance and cost.
- Establish engineering best practices around reliability, observability, and disaster recovery.
- Mentor senior and mid-level engineers via rigorous code reviews and architectural guidance.
- Collaborate with product and infrastructure teams to deliver high-availability APIs.
Kualifikasi
- 8+ years of backend engineering experience with mission-critical, large-scale distributed systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Go, Rust, or modern C++ in high-concurrency production environments.
- Extensive experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka) and distributed datastores (PostgreSQL, CockroachDB).
- Proven track record of technical leadership and cross-functional project execution.
- Strong expertise in Linux internals, network protocols, and distributed tracing.
- BS/MS in Computer Science, related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
