Vectra Systems is looking for a Staff Platform Engineer to lead the architecture and scaling of our core developer platform and multi-region Kubernetes infrastructure. In this role, you will eliminate developer toil, establish resilient internal tooling, and build zero-trust delivery pipelines capable of handling millions of daily events.
You will work cross-functionally with application teams to ensure reliable, secure, and rapid software delivery while directly mentoring senior infrastructure engineers.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, deploy, and maintain multi-region Kubernetes infrastructure on AWS.
- Design self-service developer platforms and automated CI/CD pipelines using ArgoCD and GitHub Actions.
- Define platform-wide observability standards using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) governance using Terraform and policy-as-code frameworks.
- Partner with product engineering leads to resolve distributed systems latency and reliability bottlenecks.
- Participate in high-tier on-call escalation and lead post-incident reviews with actionable remediation items.
Kualifikasi
- 7+ years of experience maintaining large-scale distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
- Expert-level proficiency in Go, Python, or Rust for systems programming.
- Extensive production experience operating Kubernetes at scale (networking, ingress, operators).
- Advanced knowledge of AWS core services (EKS, RDS, VPC, IAM) and cloud security best practices.
- Proven track record building internal developer platforms (IDPs) and infrastructure tooling.
- Strong background in database operations, distributed caching, and zero-downtime migrations.
