Vektor Cloud Systems is hiring a Staff Platform Engineer to architect and scale our core Kubernetes infrastructure. In this role, you will lead cross-functional initiatives to improve developer velocity, platform reliability, and edge compute performance across multiple cloud regions.
We value pragmatic engineering, automation-first operations, and resilient distributed architecture. You will work directly with principal engineers and product teams to establish company-wide infrastructure standards.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, deploy, and maintain multi-region Kubernetes clusters supporting 10M+ daily requests.
- Standardize infrastructure-as-code patterns using Terraform and custom internal operators.
- Design resilient observability pipelines with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Automate zero-downtime deployment pipelines for critical backend microservices.
- Establish operational runbooks, disaster recovery strategies, and SLA monitoring framework.
- Mentor senior engineering staff on cloud native paradigms and reliability engineering.
Kualifikasi
- 8+ years of production experience in infrastructure, platform, or DevOps engineering roles.
- Deep operational mastery of Kubernetes internals, networking (CNI), and service mesh architectures.
- Proficiency in Go or Python for building production automation and internal CLI tooling.
- Hands-on expertise with AWS cloud infrastructure (EKS, IAM, VPC, RDS, KMS).
- Track record scaling distributed stateful systems and event pipelines at high throughput.
- Demonstrated experience instituting SOC 2 and zero-trust security postures across infrastructure.
