Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced and driven Application Engineer - Security Product to lead enterprise security system implementations in Jakarta Raya. In this role, you will act as the technical subject matter expert for cutting-edge electronic security technologies, including video surveillance (CCTV), access control, and integrated security management architectures.
You will work closely with system integrators, consultants, and enterprise clients to translate complex operational requirements into scalable technical deployments. The role demands deep technical aptitude in modern IP-based security topologies, hands-on commissioning expertise, and clear communication across pre-sales and post-sales project phases.

Tanggung Jawab
- Deliver end-to-end technical support, commissioning, and system configuration for enterprise security products including access control and video management platforms.
- Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to conduct site surveys, proof-of-concept tests, and pre-sales technical demos.
- Provide tier-2 and tier-3 technical troubleshooting for hardware, firmware, and software integrations on client sites.
- Train channel partners, systems integrators, and end-users on product architecture, system maintenance, and best practices.
- Review engineering submittals, system schematics, network requirements, and bill of materials to verify project compliance.
- Liaise with regional product managers to report software bugs, field performance data, and localized feature requests.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or Information Technology.
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience as an Application Engineer or Systems Specialist in physical security systems.
- Demonstrated expertise with enterprise access control systems, IP CCTV, VMS platforms, and network video recorders.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking, subnets, VLANs, firewalls, and server/OS environments (Windows Server, Linux).
- Experience with major security industry products such as Software House, American Dynamics, exacqVision, or comparable platforms.
- Strong problem-solving capability with professional English and Bahasa Indonesia proficiency.
