PT Tujuh Bintang Jaya is seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Design Engineer to join our technical team in Cikarang Pusat, Jawa Barat. In this role, you will play a critical part in transforming concepts into precision designs, developing technical drawings, and delivering manufacturable solutions for our growing industrial operations.
As a Design Engineer, you will collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality assurance, and project management teams to ensure all designs meet strict engineering standards and client specifications. You will oversee drafting, product prototyping, and continuous design optimization to eliminate production bottlenecks and enhance operational efficiency.

Tanggung Jawab
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD models, schematics, and technical drawings using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent design software.
- Translate product requirements and customer concepts into functional, manufacturable, and cost-effective designs.
- Perform structural, tolerance, and design-for-manufacturing (DFM) analyses to verify structural integrity and ease of fabrication.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and tooling teams on the production floor to address design revisions and optimize assembly workflows.
- Prepare complete Bill of Materials (BOM) and engineering documentation for new and revised products.
- Support prototype fabrication, testing, and inspection to identify design flaws and implement corrective engineering measures.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in mechanical design or product engineering within a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, or CATIA) and 2D drafting tools (AutoCAD).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, machining tolerances, GD&T standards, and material properties.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and high attention to detail in technical drafting.
- Willingness to work on-site at our manufacturing facilities in Cikarang Pusat, Jawa Barat.
