Unilever is seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Planner to direct and optimize our mechanical maintenance operations in Sumatera Utara. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in ensuring maximum plant availability, asset reliability, and operational safety across our manufacturing assets.
As a key member of our engineering team, you will design and execute robust preventative and predictive maintenance schedules, minimize unplanned downtime, and lead continuous improvement initiatives aligned with World Class Manufacturing (WCM) standards. You will interface directly with operations, procurement, and reliability teams to optimize spare parts inventory, manage work order backlogs, and ensure root cause elimination of recurring technical failures.
The ideal candidate brings a proven record of mechanical engineering expertise, data-driven planning capabilities via CMMS/SAP PM, and a commitment to Unilever's high safety and sustainability benchmarks.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, schedule, and coordinate comprehensive preventive, predictive, and overhaul mechanical maintenance routines.
- Manage maintenance workflows, work orders, and backlog tracking utilizing SAP PM / CMMS systems.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to mitigate recurring operational disruptions.
- Coordinate with procurement to forecast and secure critical mechanical spare parts while optimizing inventory holding costs.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory safety, environmental regulations, and corporate hygiene standards across all mechanical activities.
- Monitor and report on key maintenance KPIs including Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Supervise contracted technical personnel and internal technicians during scheduled shutdowns and turnarounds.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of mechanical maintenance planning experience within FMCG, chemical processing, or manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in enterprise maintenance software, particularly SAP PM or equivalent CMMS tools.
- Strong background in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and World Class Manufacturing (WCM) methodologies.
- Proven expertise in vibration analysis, lubrication management, thermography, and rotating equipment maintenance.
- Demonstrated capability to analyze maintenance data and manage budgets effectively.
- Strong bilingual communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
