Soitec is seeking a dedicated Product Industrialization Technician / Senior Technician to join our advanced manufacturing facility in Pasir Ris, Singapore. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between research and development and high-volume manufacturing by transitioning new substrate and semiconductor products into stable production environments.
Working alongside cross-functional engineering teams, you will configure production lines, commission manufacturing equipment, and refine assembly and testing workflows. Your focus will be on maximizing line productivity, optimizing yield, and ensuring stringent quality benchmarks are met during initial ramp phases.
This role offers high visibility, hands-on technical problem-solving, and direct contribution to world-class semiconductor substrate innovations. Candidates with strong manufacturing backgrounds and expertise in new product introduction (NPI) are encouraged to apply.
Tanggung Jawab
- Facilitate the transfer of new products from R&D to full-scale cleanroom production lines.
- Set up, qualify, and calibrate automated assembly, inspection, and electrical testing equipment.
- Execute engineering trial runs, monitor production ramp metrics, and report process deviations.
- Analyze line bottlenecks and implement workflow improvements to reduce cycle times and scrap rates.
- Perform root-cause failure analysis on line defects and yield excursions using structured methods.
- Draft and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process control plans, and technical documentation.
- Train shop-floor operators and junior technicians on new equipment workflows and safety protocols.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Technical Certification (NITEC / Higher NITEC) in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Chemical Engineering.
- 2 to 5+ years of relevant experience in semiconductor fabrication, cleanroom manufacturing, or NPI industrialization.
- Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot automated manufacturing machinery and test equipment.
- Experience interpreting engineering schematics, product specifications, and process flows.
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced fab environment.
- Excellent communication and technical documentation skills in English.
