Apex Data Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to architect, build, and scale our distributed data platform. In this role, you will take ownership of core microservices, eliminate system bottlenecks, and ensure enterprise-grade reliability across cloud infrastructures.
We build high-concurrency systems handling tens of thousands of requests per second. You will work closely with product and infrastructure teams to deliver clean, maintainable, and highly resilient backend services.
Tanggung Jawab
- Design and maintain high-throughput, low-latency microservices using Go and PostgreSQL.
- Drive architectural decisions, technical roadmaps, and reliability standards across distributed systems.
- Optimize database performance, indexing strategies, and caching layers using Redis.
- Implement instrumentation, structured logging, and distributed tracing via OpenTelemetry.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design secure, performant gRPC and REST APIs.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor engineering peers on system design and software patterns.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of software engineering experience building production-grade backend applications.
- Proficiency in Go, Rust, or modern Java in high-scale environments.
- Solid experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and schema optimization.
- Hands-on experience with containerization, Kubernetes, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Deep understanding of distributed consensus, concurrency patterns, and microservices architecture.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent experience.
