Apex Scale Systems is hiring a Senior Distributed Systems Engineer to lead the architecture and scaling of our core data platform. You will build fault-tolerant, high-throughput microservices handling millions of concurrent events. This role focuses on high-performance backend engineering, protocol optimization, and infrastructure reliability.

Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, develop, and maintain high-throughput backend services in Go.
- Optimize data storage, query paths, and stream processing pipelines for sub-millisecond p99 latencies.
- Lead root-cause analysis for production incidents and implement permanent structural fixes.
- Design resilient failover mechanisms and disaster recovery topologies across multi-region deployments.
- Conduct rigorous code and system design reviews for distributed components.
- Benchmark and profile CPU, memory, and network bottlenecks across bare-metal and cloud instances.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years designing, scaling, and operating distributed backend systems in production.
- Advanced proficiency with Go, Rust, or modern C++ in high-concurrency environments.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka, Raft/Paxos-based consensus systems, and LSM-tree datastores.
- Deep understanding of Linux network stacks, system calls, and eBPF profiling tools.
- Demonstrated experience running production workloads on Kubernetes across AWS or GCP.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical engineering experience.
