Synthetix Labs is hiring a Senior Platform Engineer to design, scale, and maintain our core cloud architecture. In this role, you will eliminate developer friction, manage distributed compute clusters, and ensure 99.99% system availability for mission-critical enterprise workloads.
We prioritize automation, self-healing infrastructure, and pragmatic engineering. You will collaborate closely with product engineers to define foundational platform abstractions, automate multi-region deployments, and implement modern security boundaries.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and maintain multi-region Kubernetes clusters across AWS environments.
- Build internal developer platforms and tooling using Go to reduce deployment cycle times.
- Manage declarative infrastructure as code using Terraform and GitOps practices.
- Instrument distributed tracing, logging, and metrics aggregation with Prometheus and OpenTelemetry.
- Automate zero-downtime CI/CD deployment pipelines for containerized microservices.
- Participate in a blameless on-call rotation and lead root cause analysis for production events.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of production experience managing distributed Linux systems in AWS.
- 3+ years operating large-scale, production Kubernetes clusters.
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or Rust for systems automation and CLI tooling.
- Deep understanding of networking concepts including BGP, service meshes, DNS, and TLS termination.
- Demonstrated experience defining infrastructure with Terraform or Pulumi.
- Strong grasp of container security, secret management, and least-privilege IAM policies.
