Aether Cloud Systems is looking for a Staff Platform Engineer to lead the evolution of our cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will define the golden path for developer productivity, architect fault-tolerant distributed infrastructure, and champion site reliability practices across the organization. You will operate at the intersection of systems architecture, operational excellence, and developer tooling.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, deploy, and operate multi-region Kubernetes infrastructure handling millions of daily requests.
- Standardize cloud resource provisioning across AWS environments using Terraform and GitOps.
- Design resilient CI/CD pipelines to reduce deployment latency and ensure zero-downtime releases.
- Establish distributed tracing, metrics, and alerting frameworks with OpenTelemetry and Prometheus.
- Lead root-cause analysis for complex production incidents and drive corrective architectural changes.
- Mentor senior engineers on distributed systems design, observability, and infrastructure security.
Kualifikasi
- 8+ years of production experience operating large-scale distributed systems in AWS or GCP.
- Expert-level proficiency with Kubernetes orchestration, container networking, and service meshes.
- Extensive experience implementing Infrastructure as Code via Terraform or OpenTofu.
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or Rust for systems tooling and custom Kubernetes operators.
- Demonstrated experience designing high-throughput, low-latency microservice architectures.
- Track record of driving reliability metrics including SLOs, SLIs, and comprehensive error budgets.
