Pikapika Restaurant is seeking an enthusiastic and professional Waiter/Waitress to join our front-of-house team in Sanur, Denpasar, Bali. As an authentic Japanese dining destination, we are dedicated to providing an exceptional culinary journey paired with genuine Japanese hospitality (omotenashi).
In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our local and international diners. You will introduce guests to our menu, take orders accurately, deliver dishes with care, and ensure an inviting, spotless dining atmosphere throughout service. Tanggung Jawab
- Welcome and seat incoming guests warmly, creating a positive first impression.
- Present menus, detail daily specials, and make informed recommendations regarding Japanese food and beverages.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and transmit them promptly via the POS system.
- Serve meals and drinks efficiently according to food safety and restaurant standards.
- Maintain dining room cleanliness, bus and reset tables, and stock service stations.
- Process guest checks, accept payments, and ensure accurate cash and card transactions.
- Resolve guest inquiries and complaints promptly with a helpful and professional demeanor.
Kualifikasi
- Prior experience as a waiter, waitress, or service staff in a restaurant or cafe.
- Good verbal communication skills in English to interact with international guests.
- Strong interpersonal skills, polite etiquette, and a customer-focused mindset.
- Basic understanding of Japanese culinary terms and dining culture is an advantage.
- Familiarity with standard restaurant Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and manage fast-paced dinner services.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
